Range Respite Caregiver Resrouces & Services

Give

Your Time

Range Respite wouldn't exist without its wonderful volunteers! They give hundreds of hours in many different ways each year. They serve on boards and committees, help with special events, mow our lawn and plow our snow, do maintenance at the Respite House, visit with loved ones so that family caregivers can get some time off from their caregiving responsibilities, assist in our office, and bake for the many meetings and trainings that we do.

Respite House 2000 Renovation Crew & recipients of the Northland Volunteer Council's 2001 Hall Of Fame Award. From Left to Right: Bill Dale, Art Abramson, Ken Carter, Harry Kuitunen, & Rod Anderson

Our award-winning Respite House 2000 renovation crew gave more than 10,000 hours of their time remodeling the respite house knowing that their work would one day help families. For their efforts they received the Northland Volunteer Council's 2001 Hall of Fame Award. Ken Carter, supervisor of the renovation project, received one of only 13 Governor's Acts of Kindness Awards given in the state of Minnesota for his volunteer work with us and the Respite House 2000 renovation project.

At Range Respite, volunteer opportunities are plentiful and can often be tailored to meet your schedule and interests.  We'd love to hear from you, so please contact us to find out about volunteer opportunities.
