Our Respite Care Programs

Our planned respite care is managed by our Respite Care Coordinator, a Registered Nurse. Those who provide the respite care are all carefully selected, screened and trained prior to beginning their work. Every program serves people of all ages. We will work with you to determine which of the following programs best meets your needs:

CarePartners One

• For caretakers who provide relatively simple care
• Supervision and companionship is provided for short periods of time
• No medications are dispensed and no medical care or treatments are provided
• Caretaking is provided by trained volunteers
• Cost: $24 annual program fee

CarePartners Two

• For caretakes that need longer periods of respite and loved ones who require higher levels of care
• Respite care is available for a few hours or longer in your own home or in Respite House
• Care may include dispensing medications and other higher levels of care
• Caretaking is provided by trained staff with nursing, home care or family caregiving experience
• Cost: $24 annual program fee plus $13.00/hour for care either in your home or at Respite House

Cost

Although all of our programs involve a fee of some kind, our primary concern is that you get the time off that you need. To make respite care possible and affordable for everyone, we offer a variety of flexible payment options and scholarship opportunities which help cover the cost of respite for those with financial need. A $24 annual program fee, charged at the time of enrollment and yearly thereafter, covers participation in all of our programs.
